TROY, Ala. – Troy Football head coach Gerad Parker welcomed two more additions to his staff on Wednesday, announcing Caleb Davis as the director of player personnel and Dylan Ratliff as an offensive analyst.

Caleb Davis

Caleb Davis begins his first season as Troy's director of player personnel following a three-year run at Notre Dame. He began his career with the Fighting Irish as a volunteer defensive analyst for the 2021 season before moving into a recruiting associate role for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

The Irish finished 2021 seventh nationally in defensive touchdowns (4), 10th in turnovers gained (25) and third-down conversion percentage (.321), 13th in total sacks (41.0), 14th in interceptions (15) and 15th in scoring defense (19.7). Notre Dame recorded 41 sacks, the most by the program since 1996, and safety Kyle Hamilton was a consensus All-American and the 14th pick in the NFL Draft.

Notre Dame won back-to-back bowl games during his tenure on the recruiting staff, and the Fighting Irish's 2024 recruiting class ranked as the 11th best in the country, while the 2023 class checked 12th nationally.

He began his coaching career as a student assistant at Cincinnati from 2017 to 2020, working with current Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman and the Bearcat defense. During his tenure, Cincinnati featured a pair of top 10 defenses, won two bowl games and played Georgia in the 2020 Peach Bowl.

He earned his bachelor's degree in sports administration from Cincinnati in 2020.

Dylan Ratliff

Dylan Ratliff begins his first season as an offensive analyst for the Trojans following two seasons on the staff at Charlotte, including the 2023 season as a graduate assistant working with the 49ers tight ends.

A four-year letterwinner at quarterback for Charlotte, Ratliff helped guide an offense in 2022 that ranked fifth nationally in contested catches, 12th in explosive passing plays, 19th in passing/receiving touchdowns and in the top 30 per Pro Football Focus in receiving.

He began his coaching career as the quarterbacks coach at Jay M. Robinson (N.C.) High School in 2021.

During his playing career, Ratliff was a member of the program's leadership council and helped lead Charlotte to the program's first-ever bowl appearance when it took on Buffalo in the 2019 Bahamas Bowl.
